Our team created a maquette as well as a budget proposal for an engineering-related art installation in our university's upcoming engineering building. The installation would be various sized boxes made out of wood and steel with various patterned cutouts on the outside. Utilizing live data from solar panels, the boxes would visually express how much electricity is currently being generated from the sun on campus by internal LED light strips powered by an Arduino-controlled dimmer.

This is a digital rendering of what the actual boxes would look like in the new building.
